n If this is a first-time installation and you want to take advan-

tage of VMS queue load balancing and QMS print symbiont

data typing, type Y. Data typing allows the symbiont to gener-

ate the appropriate DOCs to select the language to be used

for processing the print job.

2 If a queue start-up file exists, the program displays the

prompt:

* An existing queue start-up file was found,

replace it [YES]?

n Typ e N to append this queue to the bottom of the existing

queue start-up file.

n Type Y if you want to install a new version of the

QMS$START_QUEUE.COM file. Your existing start-up file is

renamed to QMS$START_QUEUE.OLD.

3 Next, the program displays the following message and con-

tinues installing the software:

* All required user input is complete!

Installation continues...

4 When the software installation is successfully completed,

the program displays the following message and returns the

system prompt:

%QMSSMBPSE-I-CLEANUP, Exiting, VMSINSTAL

cleaning up...

Files are now being moved to their target

directories...
