Show Printer Counters

The printer keeps track of the amount of data received and other

accounting information. These printer “counters” are

n Bytes Received

Displays the total number of data bytes received by the printer

since it was turned on.

n Messages Received

Displays the total number of messages received from the host

since the printer was turned on.

n Bytes Sent

Displays the total number of bytes sent to the host by the printer

(usually in response to a host request for status) since the printer

was turned on.

n Messages Sent

Displays the total number of messages sent to the host by the

printer since it was turned on.

n Jobs Printed

Displays the total number of print jobs processed by the DECnet

interface since the printer was turned on.

Identifying the Printer Location

Set Printer Location

Use this menu option to enter the printer location as a string of up to

60 characters. This is the printer location that is displayed by Show

Printer Location. If you access this option but decide to keep the cur-

rent setting, press Return.
