Naming the Queues

The installation continues for both Phase IV and Phase V software

with the following steps to name the execution queue.

1 You’re next prompted for the name of the execution queue.

» Note:

If this is a system update and the target queue exists, then

that queue must be stopped and deleted from the active system.

* Enter a name for the QMS printer's execution

queue [QMS_

nodename

Enter the name of the execution queue associated with the QMS

printer you’re updating. If this queue name exists, the program

displays the following prompt:

* The execution queue

queue_name

exists, replace

it [YES]?

Typ e N to keep the existing queue name.

2 If a queue start-up file exists, the program displays the

prompt:

* An existing queue start-up file was found,

replace it [YES]?

Type N to append new queue to the existing queue start-up file.

Ty pe Y to install a new version of the QMS$START_-QUEUE.COM

file. Your existing start-up file is renamed to

QMS$START_QUEUE.OLD.
