This chapter provides the installation instructions for the high-capacity

input paper deck and the envelope feeder. These options are avail-

able for purchase from your QMS vendor. See appendix A, “QMS

Customer Support,” for sales and support information.

K&DSDFLW\3DSHU'HFN

The optional input paper deck holds 2000 sheets and increases the

paper input capacity of the printer to 3100 sheets (including the multi-

purpose tray). The paper deck can feed paper sizes A3, A4, B4, led-

ger, legal, and letter. Installing the paper deck requires that the printer

be lifted on top of the paper deck.

Keep in mind that the option controller board with interface

cable (not included in this kit) is a separately purchased option which

must be installed before you can use the high-capacity input paper

deck. Check with your QMS vendor for ordering information. See
