c Lift the SIMM out.

7 Remove the new SIMM from its antistatic bag.

8 Insert the new SIMM into the SIMM connector.

a Hold the SIMM at a 45° angle to the controller board, with the

notch on the right side and the bottom edge of the SIMM in

the connector.

»Note:

You can insert a SIMM in any SIMM connector as long

as DRAM0 and the SIMM connector before the one you’re

installing are occupied.
